I worked on this sequence for days, and i think I have the new holy grail settings figured out a little, but nothing i could do would get rid of the flicker.

Hard to say just by watching the video. Can you post a screenshot of your Preview area with the curves? Plase pop the preview out first (button to the top left) to get it bigger.

I suggest making a first pass without deflickering, only the Holy Grail adjustments. Then render that out via the LRTExporter.
Now load the intermediate sequence into LRTimelapse (ignore the warning that this is an intermediate sequence) and apply deflicker to that one. Should give you better results!

This, aside from the flicker, is a very nice piece of footage-is it HDR or ND Grad filtered or is it one RAW where you've used filters to draw out the shadows and reduce the highlights?

If Gunther's suggestion works, could you post what you did, your workflow and the video with deflicker applied?

It is RAW and I used Lightroom to draw out the shadows and reduce highlights. I tried to remove the flicker using Gunther's suggestion but just couldn't get it right.
