Hi,
I had troubles with metadata transitions between LRT and LR again. But then I remembered that the camera date must not be set in the future with the Mk iii. Due to the change from summer- to normal time my camera date was one hour ahead of the system date on my computer.
So before going berserk with metadata issues (like me nearly) you may check that.

PS: of course it only occurs if you have <1hr between shooting and post production
