I purchased LR Timelapse today to work on a construction timelapse. I did not realize I needed PRO version to do "Select by Criteria" to choose deflicker bandwidth.

Is there another way to select those bright and dark flicker images??

That's a feature in the Pro version, I'm sorry... The only thing you could do is select those images manually, but that's not a joy...
You can of course still "crossgrade" to pro.
