Can anyone recommend video editing software for creating a video from timelapse clips. I've got a handle on editing my timelapse sequences with LRTimelapse and LR5. I'm looking for software to put them together and add music etc.

There are lots of video editing programs that are easy to use, for example Adobe Premiere Elements and Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum.

Can Anyone tell me how I can select a subset of captures that are already loaded into lrt to create a shorter clip to render out?

I'd so this in Lightroom - just select the subsequence there in Grid-Mode, then export. Best change the export name then to distinguish from the full sequence.
