HG workflow - No Keyframes at all

Offline
#1 apomares
I have done several HG videos with no problem at all. Nevertheless, I have one with 19 HG speed changes to compensate from day to night light drops. I do Initialize, then the Keyframes Wizard; at this particular stage, I just get two 1 star keyframes: the first and last. I have no edits of any kind in the Lightroom sequence, no even there is any overexpose in the images. I have tried to do it several times and I can't find the reason why LRTimelapse 3.4 does not detect the HG changes in this sequence. I know I could do it "by hand" but 19 HG changes is a lot of work. I might be doing something wrong and I really appreciate any help about this issue.

Please check the ISO, Shutter and Aperture Columns in the table. Do you see values there? Those values are being used for holy grail key frame detection.
It might help us to help you, if you post a screenshot here.

Hi gwegner. thanks for your response.

I am including the image of LRTimelapse in relation to this case. I see ISO, Shutter and Aperture data in those columns. That is why I don´t understand what is happening.

Again thanks for your help and for developing LRTimelapse an amazing piece of fine software.

Is this after hitting "Keyframes Wizard"?

Try the following: go to the settings/expert settings, set the threshold value to 0.
Then clear all metadata (Ctrl-o) then save and starting the whole workflow again.
If it still doesn't work, please check the log file (info menu/show log) and send it to me.

OK. I did what you asked. Set to 0 the Threshold for HG in experts settings. Then Crtl O, Initialize and then the Keyframes Wizard. The result is the same 2 Keyframes at the begining-end.. Here I include the log file. By the way, I read it and it says there is missing ISO, Speed, etc exifdata. I see there are all values for all images??

The log, also sending it to the support mail. Thanks!!

I was suspecting that probably one image in that sequence might have corrupted metadata / no settings in ISO/Shutterspeed. Maybe you would like to double check that.

Try clearing all metadata in LRTImelapse (Ctrl-o) then save. This will clear that columns. Then hit "Initialize" again, this will rebuild them from exif. Hope it helps!

Hi. I checked the exif data of all files and there was NONE missing, no even a missing image in the sequence. What I did to solve the issue was to raise (from 0) the threshold HG valueto 0.5 (recommended) and run the Keyframes Wizard, this time I got a message indicating 14 missing HG values (due to the 0.5 HG threshold value). I decreased to 0.1 and run the Wizard again and this time it worked. Again thanks a lot for your support!!!!!
