I wonder which intervalometer should I use for HDR-timelapse shooting?
I also appreciate your recommendations on tether-software for the same purpose? I tried Nikon (ControlMyNikon), and there is an option "chain HDR" there, however it is not as flexible as I'd like it to be.

I'd recommend to reconsider, if "HDR" timelapse is really the way to go. It has a lot of disadvantages and only little advantage. Personally I never shoot any timelapse in HDR - just as something to think about.
Of course, I could now tell you now, that the LRT Pro Timer would allow this and be probably the best option - but please, use the search feature here for "HDR" and you'll find the arguments then think about it once again.

I don't really like to take HDR timelapse normally, but there are situations where it would actually be great. I often take night-time timelapse in Stockholm where I live. It 'd be nice to have both city lights and starry sky in the frame. The only way, as I see it, is HDR (at least HDR stills work nicely).
