Lightroom Edits Saving to DNG not XMP

Offline
#1 SLRist
I'm using the latest version of LRTimelapse and Lightroom 5.4 on a PC.

My image files are all .DNG files which have been created from .NEFs

I seem to be having trouble saving my LR edits back into the XMP files used by LRTimelapse.

Whenever I edit my key frames in Lightroom, and attempt to Save Metadata to Files, I get this message:

[Image: http://www.slrist.com/slrist/forums/lrti...tadata.jpg]

I continue to save (which takes a very long time, even though I only have the key frames selected).

The .DNG files have their timestamps updated, but the .XMP files (which I presume is where LRTimelapse loads its metadata from) are unchanged.

What am I doing wrong?

Does LRTimelapse read metadata straight from the .DNGs, or from the .XMPs?

That's okay. LRTimelapse will use whatever is never. Either the XMP files or the embedded ones by Lightroom.
In terms of performance the external ones are way better, that's why LRTimelapse uses those ones.
But don't worry about the XMPs - everything will work transparently.
