I understand that the proper workflow is from LRT > LR > LRT > render video.
However by the time i bought LRT, I already have many timelapse that I edited in LR. Can I start with those (already edited jpg) photos and start with LRT?

What would you recommend as another best option?

Could I import my LR catalog setting in LRT and start from the edits already made?

This might give you inconsistencies. I suggest you just load the existing sequences into LRT (by just clicking on the folder name in the left folder tree) and start the workflow with initializing. It won't probably be a big deal to make the editing again, since normally it only would be one single frame to redo. It will save you a lot of hassle.
