Can you try to restart LRT? Does this persist?
I know that this sometimes happens, and have it on my list to fix it.
As work around you might be able to set the deflicker reference when you are in the regular previews mode (click on "Visual Previews" again to switch back) - then come back to the visual previews.
Will move this thread to the bug reports.

I've already restarted LRT and I restarted the computer.

I've just fixed this. It will be in the next update.

Fixed in 4.6.
