LRTimelapse 4 Lightroom Addons and Script not installed (Mac)

On Mac make sure to look for the small "Script" symbol right to the help menu, see: http://forum.lrtimelapse.com/Thread-how-...ync-script

Please follow these advices first, an see if that helps:

On few systems, the Lightroom folder seems not to be at its default location on mac.

So, if you already followed the advices from the link above and still cannot get the LRTimelapse Lightroom Addons showing up in Lightroom, you can copy them manually to that place.

In Lightroom go to Edit/Preferences/Presets/Show Lightroom Presets Folder

A Finder opens. Double Click on the selected Lightroom Folder.
This folder by default is <USER DIR>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom

Only do the following, Lightroom showed you a different folder!

If on your system it's another location, you will have to copy the addons from the place where LRTimelapse has installed them (the original location) to this location.

So copy the folders "Export Presets", "Filter Presets" and "Scripts" from the original location (<USER DIR>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom) to the new location that you've just found out.

You might have to restart Lightroom afterwards.

Hi Gunther,

I did as you said to do but I still can't find the script-panel.
Do you have an idea?

Thanks!

Then you copied the files to the wrong location. Check the location that lightroom gives you and then copy the folders from the zip file there.

Hi,

I figured the problem...

When unzipping the LRTEXPORT.zip the Scripts folder is in that folder. But it needs to be placed directly in the Lightroom-Folder.

thanks.

Sure, there are more addons then just only the scripts, and "scripts" is a subfolder in that archive.

Hi Gunther
Am new to LRT & this forum
I followed your advice to Moritz on the above link. There was already a Scripts (newer) folder but since the scripts panel was not showing I replaced the folder with the one from the .zip file. However still no luck.
Also if I "save" the project after completing the renders & later want to revisit that project - where is the saved file located - is there a default location.
Thanks in advance.

For Addons that are not installed, please see this thread: http://forum.lrtimelapse.com/Thread-lrt4...-installed

A project in LRTimelapse will not be saved as project, it's just the XMP files. So if you open a folder in LRTimelapse it will always load the last settings. Please check my tutorials too: http://lrtimelapse.com/tutorial

I still cannot get the script addon to appear in LR5.  i am using a MAC and have done everything suggested in this thread.    Select Preferences ->Presets, then choose "SHOW LIGHTROOM PRESETS FOLDER".....the explorer box appears and LIGHTROOM folder is opened.   In the folder SCRIPTS, I have the unzipped files that you referred too and the seem to be in the right place, right folder.  Yet, they do not show up in Lightroom after shutting down LR and rebooting the computer.       In a second attempt, I unzipped the folder "LRTExport.zip" in a folder on my desktop and the copied the "SCRIPT" files to the "SCRIPT" the correct Lightroom folder for presets...   I then once again, closed LR, rebooted and still the script is not showing up as a menu choice in the Develop module..or any module for that matter.

Any ideas???

I'm sure you screwed up something there. Normally everything gets installed automatically by the LRTimelapse installer.
However - this is how it should look like in Finder:
