thanks for the video, that makes it easier for me to understand, what you are doing.

The Threshold can be set to 0 as well, just to detect any changes if you always shoot in M Mode.

Now for your problem: you did everything right except one thing:

If you save Metadata from the Develop module like you did, unfortunately Lightroom will only save it for the "most selected" image (only the last one here!) - that's why I alway stress to go to Grid View (G) - select all (Ctrl-A) - and then perform the operation.

If you do this, you can continue the workflow from there - everything else was perfect!
