Hello folks,

I have problem with launching LRTL 4.1 on Windows 10 x64.
Java version is jre-8u45-windows-x64. I start program and after startup, JRE crashes...
I tried to use 32bit JRE with same results.

Do you have experiences with Windows 10?

Windows 10 is not officially released yet, so it's not supported by LRTimelapse yet. I will investigate this case and see to provide a solution until the official release of W10.

Hello Gunther,

I think I found reason - I believe, there is some incompatibility between 64bit Java, Windows 10 and AMD display drivers. I found some discussions about Minecraft, which described similar issues as mine, but no solution so far - users recommended to upgrade Minecraft to version which did not rely to Java.
I think, I must wait for update of AMD display drivers or Java update.

Regards, Martin.

Okay, please keep me posted. I'm pretty sure there will ne a Java Upgrade too soon, if that's really the issue. I'm currently on the road, but will try to setup a W10 environment when I'm back in the office next week.

Maybe problem is caused by AMD drivers because I have small problem with Lightroom 6 - acceleration via graphics card is not working - OpenGL support is missing. I will post any news in my case.

I did some tests with LRTimelapse 4.1 on W10 now and found that everything works like a charm.

thank you for information, looks like I should reinstall - maybe some upgrades during test process damaged my OS.

Dear Gunther,

I updated my windows installation to latest build 10162 and I updated my AMD graphics card to latest beta drivers (10.7). After these steps, LRTimelapse is working well and it does not crash after startup.
I hope, MS and AMD will not introduce new bugs to newer versions of Windows 10 and drivers.

So I am pleased to tell you, my problem is solved and LRTimelapse is compatible with Win 10 b10162

I've tested with the latest build too and did not experience any problems. I'm very confident there won't be any issues with the release version too.
