A: This is a lightroom issue that you can fix as follows:
- Close Lightroom
- Open Explorer and find the Lightroom Application Folder, usually it's C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom Classic - but it might also contain a Version number at the end. Copy the whole Path from the location bar.
- Start an elevated command prompt (Hit Windows Key, type "cmd", right click on "Command Prompt", choose "Start with Admin Rights")
- type: cd C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom Classic (After typing "cd<space> you can just paste your copied path via ctrl-v.<hit enter>
- If you are using Powershell, surround the path with single quote signs like
cd 'c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom Classic'
- lightroom.exe -register <hit enter>
