I move right along until I try to move over to Lightroom 4 after XMP save. The icon is gray and I can not move into Lightroom. How do I get the two softwares to work together?

You have to start LR4 from it's normal menu/ short cut.
You can't start it from inside LRTL

Ok I think I got it now. As long as LR4 and LRtimelapse are using the same folder with the same images it will work. Right?
