Timelapse export stops working in Mavericks

I noticed my apps stopping background processing in Mavericks. First with final cut pro x but then with Lightroom. If yours is stopping, just turn off App Nap, i have an article and a video about it here.

Yes, I think their head is in the right place. Make apps that don't have "focus" just stop using up processing cycles. It'll save battery life. Thankfully, they make it easy to turn it off for certain apps!
