Dear Friends, does any one know of a good video stabiliser that I can use on a rocky time lapse that I shot from a moving ferry, the camera was secure to the bow of the ferry, maybe I should have used a gimbal, alas I didn't have one at the time.
I tried proDadMercalli that comes with Corel VideoStudio, but still a bit rocky. I tried the Magix products but no change. the main movement it is side to side. Any sugestions?

You could try the stablilizer in Davinci Resolve, you can download it for free from the Davinci homepage.
