Hi, After going thru the standard workflow of processing my time lapse images and ready to make the timelapse in lightroom I would like to add a watermark to my time lapse but when I click on the desired user template this option is eliminated.

How do I correct this? Any help is appreciated.

Just check the checkbox on Watermarking to turn it on and be happy ;-)
