Why does the video isn't sharp?

Hey Guy's,
I shot in Raw, with 5Dmark 3 and 24-70L lens.
After I processed the pictures and enter the Slideshow in lightroom I export the movie and use the preset: Video 24.000fps 1080p LRTimelapse.
First the size of the movie is 24 MB (I used 401 Photos) It's not too small?
Secondly, the movie isn't sharp. you can see it in the pic attached, you can see the pixels.

I am attaching a link to the movie too.

It is normal that way? It should not be more sharp?

What is not sharp? I watched and it seemed fine to me. You want motion blur in a time lapse that contains anything that is moving. I you want tack sharp then you need to shot for that and use the slide show as is 1fp (3sec or longer).

I do not know. The film looks like it is not sharp enough. On the top right you can see pixels. You think it's sharp enough?

Did you remove the video? I cannot get it to play to re-watch it.

But, i do think that i know what you are talking about, i think it is a "youtube " problem. Does your original, the one that is on your pc, look pixelated when you play it back on your pc? If not try to re-upload the video again.

I just cheked - the video works fine on youtube.
And the quality on my PC and on YouTube is the same (after I press the 1080P on YouTube).
I just read that I can buy the Professional Time Lapse Templates for Lightroom ( I used the LRTimelapse_Lightroom_templates) I wonder if I would use the pro version the quality was higher/better.

This maybe on my end. For some reason i am not able to watch videos on youtube I can just hear the audio. I will watch your video again when I am able too, unless someone else on the from answers your question.

The problem you see in the sky is typical of a not so high quality video or when the bitrate should bi higher.

As I understood you are using LRT 2 and LR3 or 4. Try with the Pro templates because one of the things they do is providing higher nitrates.

Besides that, the final video software that you'll use to the final product (video) also as it's role. iMovie has a big tendency to also make the skies posterized because of it's codec. Final Cut Pro X does a very good job because it uses ProRes codec.

Remember that in time-lapse you are working in a big chain that starts at the individual photos and end ups in a final video. Every step in the process must be well done in order to not degrade the quality of the final video.

Hope that helps.
Cheers
