Is there any way to work with my files on an external device using lrtimelapse or do I have to copy all my files to my harddrive?

As it will take a lot of harddrive memory, it would rather prefer to work with the raw files using an external device. But if I open lrtimelapse on the left side I can only see the structure of my harddrive...

Is there any way to access my external device folder in lrtimapse?
