Shooting in the rain - TGPhoto - 2020-11-09 When shooting a timelapse in the rain, what do people use to keep rain off the front lens element? This is only for shooting in light rain, not a complete downpour. A secondary consideration is protecting the camera and intervalometer. RE: Shooting in the rain - Gunther - 2020-11-09 Does it really make sense to shoot timelapse in the rain regarding the optical aesthetics of the final result? If I were to produce some rain footage for a film, I'd rather shoot in slow motion or at least real time - I think rain is not the best subject for timelapse. In any case it's always good to have the camera under a shelter so that it doesn't get wet, then you can film from there. |
