Pixelated movies - Natureview - 2020-12-21

Hi

Since a week (or so), suddenly the rendered movies from the latest version of LRtimelapse have pixelated parts in it (see screenshot). I don't think I've changed any of the settings and it's not visible on the individual jpegs that are used to make the movie.

Any idea how to solve this?

Cheers,

Arjen

Which player? Which settings? Most likely you are rendering outside the specs and your player can't deal with it. Normally the you get a warning in the render dialog. Hi

Thanks for the quick response (and the great software, by the way, much appreciated!).

I use the standard apple player and used the settings as in the screenshot. When I tick '4K' (instead of '4K UHD'), I get the orange warning, but not with this one. It's strange as I've used these settings many times and never had problems.
But when I tick 'force output to 16:9', the problem is solved, so I'll work with that.

Thanks for the info.

Arjen

Yes, I've explained why this happens in the faq that I already linked above: https://forum.lrtimelapse.com/Thread-weird-artifacts-and-glitches-in-all-my-tls-since-upgrading-to-lr5?pid=39015#pid39015
