When to apply sharpening, lens effects, etc? - BobB - 2012-10-07

Right now, my work flow is to apply sharpening and lens effects to the entire sequence of images in Lightroom before I start work in LRT 2.1.

I'm curious what others do.

Thanks,

Bob

Hi Bob,
the problem with your approach is, that when initializing in LRTimelapse your settings will be gone.

The recommended approach would be, starting in LRTimelapse, Initializing, Setting Keyfames etc. and then in LR, when editing the Keyframes (see my Tutorial), apply those settings to the first keyframe and then copy to the next, make modifications but keep Sharpening/NR etc. So all your keyframes will have those settings. Later in LRTimelapse when applying the transition, LRTimelapse will populate them to all inbetween images.
