Playing with LRTimelapse gives one a better understanding in how exactly the Holy Grail technique works. Here are two coupled sequences. The first sustains in controlling the kind of 'flashes' the sun makes, shining right into the lens. The second is an example of falling dusk, with shuttertime varying from 1/200 to 1/8s.
