Prores on PC? - lederschnautz - 2013-08-10 Hi there, i am a long time fan and owner of a private license (LRT 2). The possibility of a prores output with the commercial license of LRT3 is very tempting. My question, is this possible with a windows machine? Until now i thought encoding of prores on pc isn't possible. Thanks Edit: Are there plans for the implementation of other intermediary codecs like cineform or dnxhd? RE: Prores on PC? - Gunther - 2013-08-10 Hi, Prores uses ffmpeg, this works with windows as well in very good quality. You can edit the results in Premiere/After Effects as well without any restictions. I might as well try implementing other codecs in the future, but no concrete plans yet. RE: Prores on PC? - lederschnautz - 2013-08-10 Thanks for the fast reply, glad to hear so. I guess i have to buy the pro-version then. GrĂ¼sse, lederschnautz |
