.xmp bug - geoffllerena - 2014-08-27

Hi there,

I have a problem when processing Holy Grail sequence.

When I'm at the moment I need to go in LightRoom and edit my pictures, like shadows, contrast, blablabla... Then I save the metadata from there and hit Reload in LR Timelapse. but seems like not all my settings are reloaded properly. I'm missing my Point Curve (into the Tone Curve setting in LightRoom).

Note: If I modify (Highlight, light, darks, shadows) they will be saved for LR Timelapse, but not my RGB's curves.

This is kind of annoying because it's my main setting...

Hope you can help me!

I'm on the lastest LR Timelapse Version and Lightroom 4.

Thanks a lot.

Got my answer. thx.

"Nearly all tools of Lightroom 3 and 4 are supported with a few exceptions:

Custom Point Curves are not supported, please use the parametric tone curve instead."

So how can I make it possible? just upgrading to LR 5?

Thx!

nop... upgrading to LR5 and still not taking my custom curve.

Can you help?

Thx

No, the custom point curve is not supported and will not be. It's just technically impossible.
You might apply the point curve as a very last instance in lightroom and synchronize it to the whole sequence before exporting. But you wont be able to keyframe it.
