Export data size difference (question) - FableBlue2010 - 2014-10-19

Let me start by saying that I am just a normal computer user with normal/basic computer knowledge.

I have exported 305 dng images, once using JPG, 6K and again using TIFF, 6K.

The folder size for JPG is 3.05GB
The folder size for TIFF is 31.75GB
The folder size for the dng w/sidecar is 6.14GB

Am I correct to assume that TIFF export adds more data to the image, it does not compress a file that much or it does not compress at all; I did not write down the file size for the RAW images.

Yes, Tiff is not very efficient in compressing...
