Why deflicker when using the holy grail technique - pholler - 2015-03-07

Hi guys,

i tried day-to-night-timelapses about a hundred times but newer got it a flicker free video when using the holy grail technique. I thought thats the point behind shooting everything in manual.
I use shutter speeds slower than 1/4s with maximum aperture and normally shoot images every 14 to 28 seconds. Is there anything else to consider or is it just normal to deflicker all time lapses?

Greetings

Peter

Maybe you should try shorter intervals and smaller adjustments (1/3 steps). Normally, especially if you adjust automatically like this with qDslrDashboard, you will get perfect results. Make sure to not overexpose as well.
