noise reduction long exposure and HI ISO - Gaétan - 2012-04-04

when I take a long exposure time as 15 seconds, the camera takes a second picture "DARK" to reduce noise. That double the time. When I look at the posts, no mention about noise.

I am surprised to read such as "1 photo every 30 seconds with an exposure time of 25 seconds". Should we remove the noise reduction and have some noise?
Any ideas about it ?

Similarly we must remove the reducer ISO noise?
Sorry for my poor English ...

Hi, I always turn off dark frame nr. Usually it only affects jpg anyway, not raw. In my opinion Lightroom does a better job in noise reduction anyway.

Hi, can I use magic lantern dual iso DNG?

I don't know, if those are standard DNG that are being recognized by Lightroom, it should work. Why don't you try it?
