How to stop Lens Shift? - cachewest - 2016-01-28 Hello, I'm shooting with a Nikon D90 and a nikkor 70-300mm lens. After shooting for nearly 3 hours I noticed my images were significantly misaligned from the first photo. Any idea why this would happen? I know my tripod was secure. I even tested setting my camera and lens on a window seal where no possibility of shifting. Thanks. (Stabilizer on the lens) - it might introduce such effects. RE: How to stop Lens Shift? - cachewest - 2016-01-29 Thanks for your reply. VR was turned off. RE: How to stop Lens Shift? - Gunther - 2016-01-29 Is it something that was introduced in post? Check and equilize the crops of the images, this is the only thing, I could think of.
