Best option for iOS with EOS - timinuk64 - 2016-06-08 I'm sure this has been asked before so apologies in advance if it's elsewhere on the forum. I wish to know the best (not the cheapest) option to use iPhone/iPad in the field with Dslrdashboard and a Canon camera. As I understand it, I can use a wifi TL 3040 with my current 5dmk3 or buy a 6d which has built in wifi. What are the pros/cons of either method? Do I need a data sim for the 3040? TIA Tim RE: Best option for iOS with EOS - hubaiz - 2016-06-08 The pro on the MR3040 is: - has it's own battery - it can be used as a wireless router - if needed you can connect multiple DSLR with USB hub - works with Nikon and Canon to You don't need a data sim. |
