D750 with qDSLR-Timer runs not continuously - olivermast - 2017-06-20 Yesterday I've tested qDSLR 3.5.3 on iPad with my D750 on WiFi: If I use the timer of qDSLR with the Auto Holy Grail it runs not continuously. I selected 4 Sec. an the real interval is 3.9, 8.1, 0.9 … I think it slows down/blocks if the camera transfered the reference shot (RAW+Basis JPEG) to my iPad. After 100 shots the qDSLR quits sometimes?! grrrrr To resolve this problem I want to use the Pixel Timer at the D750. But it's not possible even if the D750 is connected by internal WiFi to qDSLR-Dashboard. How do you resolve the Problem? PS. The camera stores the images on the inernal SD-Card, not on the iPad :-) RE: D750 with qDSLR-Timer runs not continuously - Gunther - 2017-06-20 It's known that the time in qDDB is not very reliable. I'd recommend to always use an external timer. The pixel should work fine. By default it has a 1 sec AF-Delay like any other commercial external timer, but you can get rid of it with this tipp: http://forum.lrtimelapse.com/Thread-intervalometer-blocks-the-camera-for-too-long-how-to-get-around-it Or, even better, you use the LRTPTF for triggering: https://lrtimelapse.com/lrtimelapse-pro-timer-free/ BTW: Internal Wifi connection with Nikon D750, any external Timer and qDDB works perfectly. I use it all the time. |
