Matching Total Exposures

Offline
#1 grwiffen
Hi there

I am using the new Holy Grail method as explained in Gunters new tutorial, where you use the 'Match Total exposures' function across the 2 Holy Grail keyframes.

My issue is that it doesn't seem to work. I am using LR 3, is that an issue?

When I select the LH image, then the RH and select 'MTE', often absolutely nothing happens. Sometimes there is a slight change, but it doesn't match the exposures of the 2 images. Often the RH keyframe will remain significantly lighter than the LH.

I have tried this a few times now and I keep getting the same result, so I wonder if its LR3, or if there's something else I am missing?

Any help gratefully received.

It's important that the exif data (aperture, exposure time, iso) is correct for the images. Check that in the LRTimelapse table view for the changes! Normally it's no problem to do that with LR3 as well.
