4K TV broadcast/play issues

Offline

gents,

we have some issues when we play our 4K mp4 timelapse renders on TV's. (Toshiba & Sony bravia)
We found out that our mp4 files where not recognized by the mentioned TV's.
We use LRT 2.3.1 and LR 4 we render out 2160 @ 24.000 LRTimelapse Pro (4K)

Is this H.264 vs H.265 codec issue?
does anyone have ideas or clues how we can solve this?

TIA!

LRTimelapse exports are meant for further post processing. The Bitrates are very high and TVs might refuse to play that footage. Normally you use a video processing software to "cut" multiple sequences together, add sound etc. and then export with a reasonable bit rate.

We post-edit to complete new movieclips. However, we think is the current codec from the TV hw manufactorers.. Bitrate bandwidth can be the bottleneck..
Are there fellow timelapsers that render 4K and did broadcast on TV's?
