After having taken an image a DDB error message pops up: Unfortunately DDB has stopped working.

However it is still running in the background, I touch the icon and DDB comes up again, but I have to start the openWRT server again and connect to my camera.
Canon EOS 5d MK2
TP-Link V2 with open WRT- just updated the most recent release
Samsung Note 10.1 tablet

Please help.

Maybe you could try the new qDslrDashboard, download on http://dslrdashboard.info - it's way more stable with canons.

I was using DSLR D successfully for a number of months and last weekend (during a milky way shoot) it stopped working. I didn't make any changes to my camera or nexus 7 tablet , so Im really puzzled. After every shot the app shut down.(Unfortunately DSLRDashboard has quit). I tried clear catch, I upgraded DSLR to the latest version 30.33. Now I can't get it to recognize the camera at all....
My camera is a Canon 1DX.

Please help, so frustrated.

So did you try the new version qDslrDashboard (see above?)
Are you using the TPLink router? Did you upgrade the firmware as well? You should!
You can find the latest versions on http://dslrdashboard.info/downloads

when you say 'new version do you mean v30.33 or the test version v30.34?

I have not upgraded the firmware, but I will.

I will try your suggestions and post how it turns out.... I just need to know which version V30.33 or the test V30.34

Thanks

I have installed qdslrd v0.1.4 on my Nexus 7
I have the MR3040 . I had previously flashed V2. I'm unsure if V2 in the upgrades is required?? or ddserver_0.2-12_ar71xx.ipk .....
I have tried to flash ddserver_openwrt-tl-mr3040-v2-squashfs-sysupgrade_0.12.bin.
I'm not having any luck finding my camera, the user interface is completely different but I have tried everything I can think of to connect.
Im using a Canon 1DX

any suggestions?
+++++++++++++++++++++++
I left the previous part of this post for reference.
I went back in and reflashed the TPLink firmware (ddserver_openwrt-tl-mr3040-v2-squashfs-sysupgrade_0.12)
I resynced the browser ( I had omitted that step)
I also changed channel and transmit power back to defaults.
I clicked save and apply
-----
connected my router to the camera
hold the second icon (looks like a network icon)
Open WRT
DSLR Dashboard opens (I'm so HAPPY!!!)

Thanks for the great app, your hard work and especially to Sawo for that great instructional video
