Artefacts in rendered video

Offline
#1 Phil Norton
Hi All

Just rendered a video at 1080 and it was fine, then re-rendered it at 4K, which was fine other than at one point for a couple of seconds there seems to be some blocky artefacts that are also rendered, not on the exported stills.

I can't see how to include a screen shot of the culprit here, any ideas what would cause the artefacts?

It's always worth checking the faq first... :-)

Thanks Gunther, I think I understand...it was 3:2 so I can hen edit it with ken burns effect at 16:9, so I will try the 3k. I did search faq but missed that, and if cross posted it was in error. Many thanks!
