Auto-transition introduces a sharp change in sequence

Hi,

I've been struggling with this problem for quite sometime now. I shot a holy grail sequence and after editing I have a sharp change at one point in the sequence and in the exported images.

The change in parameters occurs always on the same image. This image is just a regular image and not a keyframe. Everything else in the sequence is OK.

I did everything as per manual
  • Initialized sequence in LRTimelapse
  • Saved metadata
  • Went to grid view in LR
  • Ctrl+A and Load metadata
  • Used 4-star filter to select and edit keyframes
  • Used only LR default graduated filter dots
  • Back to grid view, select all and save metada
  • Reloaded in LRT, created transitions, saved again
  • Back to LR, grid view, select all, load metadata
What is really suspicious is that sometimes when I zoom in the fauly image (let's call it A) in LR, the preview updates in Lightroom and suddenly I see a correctly edited image (that looks like the image previous to A). Then I click on the next image (B) in the sequence, and suddenly B shows correctly as well. Click back on A and the B goes back to being different.

Basically clicking between images in the bottom bar changes the previews. You can see the strage behaviour in this screencast: https://youtu.be/dmM53BkcsGw

Tried deleting everything in Lightroom cache. Tried importing from different location and doing everything from zero, no help.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Please do an easy test: select the two adjacent images that look different, then go to script / sync keyframes.
If this equalizes the look of the second image, then you know that there are different settings on both. You can then examine them in the LRTimelapse table and you see which tool changes between those two (read metadata for the second, to bring back the old version)

If the changes in color are still there, then you are stumbling over one of the lightroom annoyances when using context sensitive tools like dehaze, clarity, whites, etc. in too much extent. From what I see, you edited the images very much then you might get those effects.
Edit less, especially those tools and the effect will go away. See this faq: http://lrtimelapse.com/news/use-the-new-...me-lapses/

It turned out the problem was indeed caused by extensive use of the dehaze filter.

Thanks for your help!
