Automatic Time-lapse Dolly

My first DIY time-lapse Dolly. It consists of a 2WD Robot Chassis and a Camera Dolly. But you could also have taken a 4wd robot chassis directly.
The whole thing is controlled by an Arduino Nano and a DC Motor Driver Module L298N.

For the display, I use a 0.96 "OLED display SDD1306 128x64. All is programmed via a VS1838B infrared diode.

The interval timer is on the camera thanks to CHDK. But you could also realize that in the Arduino.

The Arduino hangs on the hotshoe with an external interrupt. This ensures that the dolly moves immediately after closing the second shutter curtain. The system then has the maximum time for stabilizing.

The whole project was initially designed for low cost. Initial tests have shown that the dolly is very difficult to steer. Due to the gear transmission ratio, no smaller distances than 1cm / shot are possible.
