I have 3,500 files in a timelapse of Nikon compressed raw files. It's taking a long time (over 40 minutes) on my MacBook Pro M1 Max using 10 cores to finish the auto transition step. Is this normal? Thanks.

No, the auto transition should be very fast. Could you please send me the log after that process runs for a while (info menu / show log).

It's not the autotransition, it's the Visual Previews that cannot be generated.
