I was wondering if it would be possible to add a simple feature to enable black bars on the timelapse preview, something like this:

Of course, the bars would adapt to whatever cropping you do to the sequence. And it would be nice to be able to turn it on or off, depending on user's taste.

The problem with this would be that if you select for example the whole sequence with all images (Ctrl-A) and you have a changing crop through the sequence this will look weird.
I might however consider adding the black outside (or better semi-transparent black overlay) only when only one image is selected. I'll think about it.
