can LRTimelapse remove sky flicker at night if ground illumination changes

So I have a timelapse of the milky way rising in the background and in the foreground are various people with red lights coming in and out of the frame (typical astronomy star parties).

I find that when the red lights come into the frame or the composition of the frame changes, the milky way's color balance changes (even though I always shot in RAW) or the sky brightness changes. This causes a great deal of flicker.

Can this be removed by LRTimelapse?

Yes, most likely that's because of some Lightroom tools acting in a context sensitive way and changing contrast.

Explained here: https://lrtimelapse.com/news/use-the-new...me-lapses/
Affected Tools: Most in the Basic Panel.
Try using the tone curve instead for the contrast editing and use the tools in the Basic Panel only very carefully.

All in all such situations are not well suited for timelapse - from my experience is will be very difficult to get a pleasing result with red lights popping in and out.
