Can Not update LRT Pro 2.5 from 22 to 24

Never had a problem when updating, but after the LRT Pro shows up in the Explorer, the Explorer completely freezes when I try to cop the uf2 to the Timer. I even can not kill the program until I have unplugged the Timer.
I do not believe that it is the cable, as I used this cable always and it always worked. Nevertheless I tried 2 other cable which should definitely work, but no luck.
But most interesting is the error message I got when using not the Windows Explorer but an alternate file manager:

Double check that the uf2 file was correctly downloaded and extracted. Restart computer.
Plug-in the timer, set it to upgrade mode (double click reset).
Now you should see the drive.
Go to device Manager in Windows, find the USB device for the timer and right click / uninstall driver.
Unplug the USB from the timer.
Now plug it again, windows will reinstall the driver.
Try again.
If it doesn't work either, please try another computer.
Let me know.

Did all above, even uninstalled AV Software, no luck.
On another PC, no problem.
Hardware problem IMHO can be ruled out, as I tried all USB ports and also tried various other devices, like SSD, camera, Garmin Navi, DJI (yes I got meanwhile one Wink ) no problem.
Out of any ideas at the moment.

Yes, thinking about a possible Windows 10 issue, as both notebooks are on different Windows version:
Notebook not working (but working in the past): Windows 10 Pro 20H2 Build 19042.928
Notebook working: Windows 10 Enterprise 20H2 Build 19042.804

I still think it's something with the USB driver that got stuck...
But at least you could do the upgrade now.
