Can anybody suggest a solution for Holy Grail shooting with a Canon 5D II & iOS device?

I am thinking mostly about how to adjust the exposure remotely as necessary. What hardware combination would fulfil this?

Hi, the discussion is old, but I can suggest to use magic lanter, it have an intervallometer function inside it and a lot of pro version. I never used the bulb ramp or similar function (too complicated) but try it
