Case+ WiFi remote

Offline
#1 rodrigo
Hi, I purchased a "Case plus" WI-FI remote controling device to be able to add wifi to my Canon 5D MK III. This device comes with its own camera software, but I was wondering if anybody knows if it will work with the qDslrDashboard.

Kind regards,

Rodrigo

I can't imagine it, because qDslrDashboard requires its own DDServe process to be running on the router. This is why you install a custom firmware on the TPLink 3040 in order to use it with qDDB.

In your case it might be possible to bring OpenWRT on the router (I have no idea) - but then I will most likely not work with the original software anymore. I think it would be easiest to spent the ca. 50 US$ on the TPLink 3040.

Thanks Gunther for your reply, I did purchase the TPLink but I ended up with a brick. I bought the Case+, which came with it own software but I wanted to know if anyone had one and had tried it with DslrDashboard.

regards,

Rodrigo
