Changing orientation

Offline
#1 destino
Hi there.

I shot a vertical format timelapse the other night. It has loaded into the LRTimelapse software in the correct orientation and loaded and I processed it in lightroom and it was in the correct orientation. However when i go to render the movie it has reverted back to a horizontal orientation. Are there any clues as to what i may have done wrong and how I can fix it.

Thanks

Peter

So you have the vertical images in Lightroom and then you export them via LRTExport (from Lightroom), then the Render Dialog should open and show your the preview of the render also in Portrait mode.
Now, if you use "Force Aspect Ratio" make sure to have set 9:16 and not 16:9 - then it will also render in portait mode.
Now you need a video player that is able to play back such files.

You can also select all then rotate the images in Lightroom just before you export them. This will result in the video being in the normal 16:9 but sideways (as required for some stock video sites) You can then easily rotate it 90 degrees back to vertical when editing as a video or in Davinci Resolve.
