Windows RAM memory

Is it normal, that LRT doesn't use the full RAM capacity?
I have 32gb RAM on my machine, and when I load a picture library it takes up to half an hour to do that (there is 65.000 images 500kb each).

But in the top right corner it says MB free: 16.000, so it seems to me, that the program isn't utilizing the full RAM capacity?

or...?

I noticed, that the exiftool.exe is only 32bit. Could that be the reason? I'm running 64bit windows.

Kind regards

If LRTimelapse shows that enough ram is available, the bottleneck is somewhere else. Exiftool doesn't need to be 64bit.
The performance depends on the file types. If you have RAW files with embedded previews, LRTimelapse will be very fast extracting those previews. That's the scenario it has been designed for.
If you work with jpgs, it will take a bit longer. If you work with RAW or DNG files without embedded previews it will be very slow, because it needs to demosaic every file.
In any case, after the initial preview generation it will be faster.

Please note that officially LRTimelapse supports sequences up to 15.000 images, see https://lrtimelapse.com/eula
Everything above that might work, but is not officially supported and tested.
