I have found this plug-in for Lightroom 3 and above.

It will create snapshots of your current settings for up to 10 images in Lightroom 3 or above (this is the free version). With a donation you will be sent a key to unlock the unlimited snapshot creator.
Take a snapshot of your key frames and the go try other settings or fix some settings that you do not care for. Also, you can make sure that "Delete temporary sequence files after rendering" is UNchecked to keep your rendered sequences and then go play around with other settings.
