Hi Gunther, when converting CR3 images to DNG format to process with LRT, is there any changes that need to be made to the default setting in the converter, before using the images in LRT?.

Regards,

Rodrigo

No, just use the settings, you would think are appropriate. LRTimelapse should be able to deal with all DNG formats.

Once the CR3 have been converted to DNG, can you dispose of the CR3 to release disk space,?

Sure, DNG is the Equivalent to RAW, if you chose lossless compression.

Is there any reason as to why the number of DNG (6471) is lower than the number of CR3 (8178)? I can't check which one is missing as the DNG's have been renumbered consecutively.

I have re-runed the DNG converter and it found the 1707 photos missing. It is a good thing I checked before deleted the original CR3" s.
