I'm trying to do a smooth transition, and I want it to go from 5000K WB to 3800K and then to 3200K. I inserted three keyframes. However, the middle keyframe isn't getting smoothly interpolated, it's getting read as a "spike" instead (see screen shot), ie it smoothly transitions from keyframe 1 to keyframe 3, but keyframe 2 is a spike on the graph that disrupts the smooth slope. What am I doing wrong?

Did you apply the auto transition once more after editing the keyframe?

Yes. I was eventually able to work around the problem by selecting a range of images and applying an individual transition, but it seems like that's not how it's supposed to work

So this happened directly after the auto transition? Which version of LRT are you using? How close are those frames next to each other (how many frames in between?)
It's hard for me to say, what you ar Le doing wrong without more information and a screenshot that shows more.
