Slider for travelers - what to buy?

Got an email back from Brian at eMotimo

" That is a great idea, but we haven't connected all the vendors in this way just yet. The motor is the same, but it mounts directly to the frame of the Rhino Sliders. This mount does not use the DP quick mount system and can't accept the DP motors. It may be possible with tools, but that defeats the ease-of-use that you are going for. "

They haven't tested it but the Rhino kit doesn't support the dP quick release motors (although it may be possible as the motors are the same).

might have to go with the stage1 slider after all.

Hi,

If you want to buy a slider for only one week then surely are wasting your money. You should go for rental means that take slider on rent.

It will be beneficial if you are hobbyist or professional cinematographer. Motorized sliders or time lapse slider are very expensive.

The slider which I am having is Camtree 3ft time lapse slider, price wise and quality wise it is good. I bought this from India based company Thecinecity. This is a compact, lightweight slider makes smooth and stable videos.
