EXIF. DOES a Lens' lack of transmitting EXIF Data affecting efficacy of LRTImelapse?

I am considering buying a lens for my astrophotography, the LAOWA 15MM 2.0 ZERO-D FOR SONY FE. Unlike the Zeiss Loxia or the the Voigtlander E-mount lenses the Laowa does not feature electronic contacts to communicate with the camera, so there is no Exif data transmitted.

Will this interfere with my using LRTimelapse with this lens, particularly holy grail?

Thanks,

George Paul

Only if you are planning to change the aperture while shooting, other wise it doesn't matter. If LRT detects missing exif data for aperture, it will offer you to tag the used aperture to the images manually.

Thank you very much Mr. Wegner. So far, I am getting great results without working with the aperture. This really helps me in my decision about whether to buy this lens. Great software! You must be very proud of how it is changing the world of photography. GLP
